January Update
Happy New Year!
We hope you all had a good festive season and that Santa brought you many golf balls!
First of all, we send our hearty congratulations to Calum and Sarah Morrison on the birth of their son Gordon recently…there's no limit to how early you can sign him up for junior membership Calum!!
Now that we're past the shortest day and the days are just beginning to show signs of lengthening, I'm sure you'll all be thinking of dusting off the clubs and getting out there to practice before the season starts in earnest. Well, even though the weather hasn't always been kind, the course is in pretty good condition, so go for it!
The winter leagues are in full swing...
For the ladies it's been Kay Liston all the way with two comprehensive victories in the winter stableford.
For the gents, Bill Roberts has dominated so far with 7 out of 12 wins. Well done Bill!
Finally, the magnificent winner of the New Year Mixed competition this year (held on 2nd Jan!) was Bill Roberts with an amazing 42 points!!!!
Please note that the clubhouse will be open restricted hours for the winter.
As always, new members and visitors are very welcome! An honesty box system for green fees runs when the clubhouse is closed. Do sign the visitors book and give your comments.
