January Update
Now that the excesses of the festive season are well and truly over, our minds start to turn to getting that swing in tune for the new season in the Spring…
Before then, however, we must congratulate Roddy Butcher for an excellent game on 2nd January where he won on a count back with Simon Hope, both on 33 stableford points. We were very pleased to see a number of visitors join in and try out the game on the 2nd as well.
The winter league competitions are still going for the tough amongst you, and for the ladies, in addition to the stroke play on the first Sunday of the month, there's now a stableford on the 2nd Sunday up to and including March.
Watch notice boards in Lochcarron and environs for news of evening whist games to be held at the clubhouse starting in February. Come along and enjoy a bit of fun and a bite to eat. If all goes well, we'll repeat the whist evenings throughout next winter.
As always, new members and visitors are very welcome! An honesty box system for green fees runs when the clubhouse is closed.
