November Update
Fairly short and sweet this month…
Our club AGM was held on 16th November, and a big thank you to all those who attended. It really is important that club members come along and support this meeting. We were pleased to see around 20 members present.
The new committee elected for next season are:
Chairman: Murdo (Stag) MacKenzie
Secretary: Gerry Arscott
Treasurer: Bart McFleat
Men's Captain: Gus Murray
Ladies' Captain: Karen Starr
Members: Finlay Matheson (greens), Fiona Matheson (membership), Keira McFleat, Bill Roberts, Tom Watson.
We'd like to thank the committee members who've stepped down this year for their time and input - Angus MacKenzie and Roddy MacLennan. A huge thank you also goes to Norman Cameron, our retiring Chairman, who has put in many years of selfless service to the club. Nom, we hope you might still come along and wield a strimmer every so often!!
The winter schedule will continue for the coming months through to the end of March for gents, ladies, and juniors, so watch the notice boards for information on when these games will be played. Some news on ladies games will shortly be posted regarding extra games for the league.
Remember, the Annual New Year Competition will take place, weather permitting, as is now becoming traditional, on 2nd January 2008.
As always, new members and visitors are very welcome! An honesty box system for green fees runs when the clubhouse is closed.
